LAHORE
– Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday left for London after she received her passport on the order of Lahore High Court (LHC).
Maryam’s personal maid is also travelling with her.
Before leaving for London, she visited the graves of her grand-parents and mother in Raiwand.
Upon her arrival at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore, people also captured selfies with her.

Earlier on Monday, LHC had ordered to return Maryam Nawaz’s passport after a three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of LHC wrapped up the petition filed by the PML-N leader for her passport return after National accountability Bureau (NAB) decided not to oppose Maryam’s plea.
Maryam leaves for London after receiving passport
While arriving at the airport prior to her flight early morning, the PML-N leader spoke to reporters and said she was eager to finally meet her father.
“I can’t wait for the plane to land so I can finally meet my father,” she told reporters at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.In a tweet, PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt wished Maryam a safe flight and lauded her for “facing oppression with bravery”.Passport returned’ the LHC directed the deputy registrar (judicial) to return Maryam’s passport, which she had surrendered to the court in 2019 for getting bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
Taking a hit at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Maryam maintained that “the nuisance’s politics based on cruelty and vengeance had to come to an end one day.”
“However, this foreign agent has not stopped with his lies and scams even today. The consequences of his actions and his tragic end await him. God willing,” she added.
